Hello!

I have a very simple card to share with you today.

This one is inspired by the new Runway Inspired Challenge:

Isn’t that top simply stunning?! I would wear it any day! and I love how it looks paired with the soft yellow pants. Even though I almost always reach for a white card base, this time I chose to work with yellow.

I white embossed the lace image from Altenew’s Lace Up set on clear vellum and cut around it leaving a thin border. The word thanks is from the Super Script 2 set, and I embossed it on white card stock using Pearl embossing powder. After embossing it, I colored around it using water based black marker. The Pearl embossing powder has some glitter in it, but I thought the sentiment needed more shimmer, so I went over it using Sakura stardust gel pen. You can see the shimmer a bit more clearly in the photo below.

Alternatively, I could have white embossed the sentiment on black card stock, and used the Sakura gel pen the same way.

The vellum was adhered using Tombow Mono Multi glue, which dries clear, and the sentiment was adhered using foam tape.
