Runway Inspired Challenge #64

Hello!

There were some super gorgeous projects at last challenge’s entry! I was mesmerized looking from one beautiful card to another! You guys are awesome πŸ™‚

We have a beautiful soft inspiration at Runway Inspired Challenge this week.

The light colored fabric made me think of vellum. A lot of ideas were running in my head, but I wanted to design something that would be quick and easy, yet pretty. These days I can hardly make time to design cards, but when I do, it gives me a thrill πŸ™‚

I started by stamping directly on to my card base using some light colored pigment inks. I used flowers from the brand new Altenew set (just launched yesterday) called Scribbled Flowers. After stamping, I drew the stems with a pencil.

Next I cut a piece of vellum slightly smaller than my card front, and glued the sentiment strip and the hello die cut on top of it. The sentiment is from another brand new Altenew set called Quilled Elegance. Finally, I placed some adhesive behind the sentiments and little dots of glue around the perimeter of the vellum piece, and adhered it to the card base.

Sometimes, I like a card quite a lot even if it is not too glamorous, and this is one of those cards. Maybe I love the fact that I executed it in less than fifteen minutes πŸ™‚

I hope you stop by the Runway Inspired Challenge for a peek at what the design team came up with. I tell you, they are drop-dead-gorgeous πŸ™‚

Our sponsor for the challenge is the very generous Ellen Hutson, and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to her online store.
