Hello!
Have you heard of Chaitali and her Iron Craft? Iron Craft is a weekly feature where Chaitali invites a guest designer and they each create a project using the same crafty ingredients. You can read more about it here. Iron Craft is running it’s season two now, and what is fun and new in this season is that Chaitali is doing video interviews with the guest designers!
So yes, I am on camera! Yikes. It was fun doing the interview, but quite embarrassing watching it afterwards. Oh and there is one more exciting element about today’s particular episode. I will let you head on over to Chaitali’s blog to find out what it is 🙂
Before I leave, let me share the card I made for the collaboration. Our ingredient was the Simple Shapes stamp set from Altenew. Jen designed this set, and I love how versatile it is! This set naturally calls for creative geometric patterns, but I wanted to use it differently, so here is what I ended up with:
As you can see, I stamped one of the parallelogram shapes randomly using pink (Memento pigment) and gold (Delicata) inks. I was going for a look where the shapes are cascading down from right to left. To finish the card, I used a sentiment from the Label Love set, stamped it on scrap paper, cut it, and then raised it with some foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by! If you want to watch the interview, go on over to Chaitali’s blog 🙂
