Moxie Fab World: Custom Made Triangle Stamps

I wanted to make some homemade stamps for the Moxie Fab World‘s challenge Stamp With a Homemade Stamp.

At first I asked myself, why would I want to make a stamp? The answer was pretty easy; of course, to make something that I don’t have! I thought of all the different kinds of stamps that I have, and realized that I didn’t have any solid triangle stamps. Lately I have been seeing a lot of cards with triangle patterns, so I decided to make some using foam:

I used X-acto knife to cut out the shapes, then adhered them to the clear block using double sided tape. They adhere really well, and came off well too! Almost like any regular cling stamp.

I used the equilateral triangle to stamp the background in this card:

I used only three inks; Close To My Heart Plum, Sky, and sweet leaf. I used the technique that Jennifer shared here to get the other colors.

Next I used the right angle triangle to create the heart in this next card. I pretty much copied it from a picture I saw on Pinterest.

Here I added some metallic triangles, which are popped with foam adhesive.
