Clean and Simple Card

One of the props for this month’s challenge at the Hero Arts blog is to use “Clean and Simple Style Stamping”.

For me, this means simple stamping; no fussy cutting, no layering, no time consuming coloring…just inking and stamping,

which I almost never do.  So I thought this was a good challenge to try.

Here is the first card that I made:

It was so quick and easy that I decided to make two more:

I used stamps from a Hero Arts/Basic Gray set called “Sweet Threads Thank You

The centers are large brads. They are really pretty; made out of fabric. I got 12 of them for just $1.49!! from Marshalls, should have gotten one more pack…

The color inspiration was from one of my daughter’s cute dresses. Here is she a few months ago, with her hair oh so messy!

I had made this card back then where I tried to imitate the dress pattern:

I tried doing a similar pattern with the leaf stamp, but it didn’t come out good, so I decided to leave it at one flower per card.
