My final card for the Runway Inspired Challenge #12:
Well, what can I say, I had to make a card with a butterfly as the focal image, because the large pattern in the bodice of the dress looks so much like one! So here is my third and last card for this challenge:
I made the butterfly wings by first cutting out triangles and coloring them with a blue copic marker (B26). I then covered them with crackle paint.
As for the black patterns on the wings, I made those by cutting out exact size triangles as the blue wings from black cardstock, then drawing out the patterns and cutting them out with an xacto knife.
The body of the butterfly is done in a similar way: cut out white cardstock in diamond shape, color with copic R27, then cover with crackle paint.
This was really fun to do as I love intricate cutting
