Hello hello!
Time for this week’s new challenge at CASE Study. We have an AMAZING card by Donna Mikasa to inspire us all!
The moment I saw this card, I knew I wanted to do some gold embossing and inking.
Here is the card I ended up with:
I embossed the Hero Arts Antique brocade stamp in gold on water color paper. Then I used Distress ink Victorian Velvet diluted with water to add a few strokes of color. I used the same ink to add splatter on the card base by tapping gently on the paint brush.
The embroidery floss is shiny, and it’s color is like Platinum. Instead of relying on my DYMO label maker, I used a sentiment stamp with similar characteristics.
Stop by the CASE Study challenge blog for tons more inspiration from the design team, as well as our guest designer Erin and our muse Donna herself!
Thanks for visiting today!
