Guest Designing with Penny Black

banner for GDesigner

Hello!

It is day three of my guest designing at Penny Black Blog.

Yesterday’s card:

wreath

The card base measures 4″ x 6″ and is a beautiful gray card stock from Bazzill. I stamped the ornaments using Versafine Smokey Gray pigment ink (love this ink!) directly onto the card base making an offset pattern.

The wreath was stamped using SU! Pink Pirouette on white card stock then trimmed inside and out. I embossed the greeting on a trip of vellum then adhered it to the front of the wreath, which required that I trimmed the end edges in conformance with the wreath.  Now that I think about it, I am baffled at the fact that I did not attach the strip behind the wreath!! The assembly was then mounted on foam tape and adhered to the card base.

As for today’s card, here is a sneak peek:

Please head on over to the Penny Black Blog to see the full card 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! and Happy Holidays!
