Hello there!
It is time for the next CASE Study challenge with our muse Jennifer Mcguire.
My first thought was to use a border stamp. I love how Jennifer used just one border stamp to create this beautiful design. I like to take opportunities like this and utilize stamps that I have never used before.
Right off the bat I spotted a border stamp from Simon Says which has never been inked up. I started by stamping it on scrap paper in various colors, trimmed them, and here is what came out with them arranged in a rainbow of color:
As I was gluing the banners down, I felt that the card looked awfully familiar; well of course it is a very close CASE of Jennifer’s card, but the rainbow colors reminded me of another card. And then it hit me, Laura had a similar design about a year ago. You can see her card here. I just had to give some credit to the extraordinaire Laura 🙂
The sentiment is another stamp that had never been inked before; it is from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Thanks set.
