Card: Stampin Up! Art of the Orient

I have been thinking about this card for quite some time, and when I made it, it didn’t come out quite as I imagined it, but I think the result is not so bad.

I used Stampin Up!’s Art of the Orient stamp set, and created the background using five different shades of pink and red ink Pads.

The inspiration for this card was one of TinTin’s adventures; The Blue Lotus. It is an adventure set in China, and when I saw the above mentioned stamp set, I immediately thought of this book. I would say the book’s cover was the main inspiration :)

For the steps, I decided to make a video. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
